Children’s Care Coordinator

Hello, I am Megan Logan and I work at South Central Behavioral Health Region as the Children’s Care Coordinator for Appanoose, Davis, Mahaska and Wapello counties. I have a background in children’s services in a variety of capacities including Family Centered Services pertaining to child welfare and ensuring the safety of the children, juvenile residential treatment, and crisis and advocacy services.

My position provides social work with a heavy emphasis on care coordination for children we serve, technical assistance to the community, and system building within the scope of issues of mental and behavioral health pertaining to children. I also am working on partnering with stakeholders to address the gaps and making services accessible for the children in our region.

I am very excited for the opportunity to collaborate with providers, stakeholders, school districts and community partners in building a children’s mental health system. I will assist any child in need to ensure they receive services in which they qualify to enable them to be successful and at their best.

Please contact me at 641-683-4576 or email address [email protected] if you or someone you know needs assistance or information regarding child services. My office is located 110 E. Main St. in Ottumwa, however I travel to all regional counties, Appanoose, Davis, Mahaska, and Wapello to meet individuals where they reside.

I look forward to making this a defining position in the community.
